I had a dream the other night and saw myself in a place, a beautiful place unknown to me. The place was surrounded by amazing tall trees that served to imbue a sense of tranquility. I walked around for some time and got thirsty; I needed to quench my thirst, so I started searching for drinking fountains. I searched all over; I searched thoroughly in an effort to find something to drink and finally, I found a faucet — old, rustic and covered with stains. Totally dismayed and disappointed, I called to the Lord and cried for help, “Lord, give me water!” I noticed there was a man; he heard and saw me crying, and was laughing at me — I cared less and kept crying “Father!”
I woke up then and prayed, and suddenly I saw a vision. Heavens opened and I saw glittering water poured on my cupped hands — it was beyond description! I have never seen such water in my whole life; it was beyond words, absolutely incredible! My eyes were further amazed because the glittering water kept pouring in like a waterfall. This reminded me of the Word in John 7:38, “He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being shall flow rivers of living water.’” And the message the Lord wants to send to His people is presented in clear and striking manner.
He knows your need; He knows exactly what “you need even before you ask Him” (Matthew 6:8). Whatever you need, whether it be a job, a miracle, financial provision, healing, deliverance, breakthrough, freedom, restoration or divine happiness (including your Ruth or Boaz), He knows your every need — He knows all of them. It is without a doubt that God’s incredible desire is to richly bless you, cause you to flourish, grant you your heart’s desires and abundantly provide for YOU. I remember what He told me in my dream, “Please Me, obey My word, and I will give you the desires of your heart” — that dream was in September, three months ago.
Be it food, friends, love, pleasure or other earthly things, at every waking moment, we always desire something. But how strong is your desire after spiritual blessings, and how strong is your desire for the presence of the King? Psalm 37:4 says “Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart,” and that’s a POWERFUL promise. The Lord apparently entices us to delight in Him, only then will He show Himself strong and faithful on behalf of those whose hearts are “100% HIS” (2 Chronicles 16:9).
“In your presence is fullness of joy, and at your right hand are pleasures forevermore” (Psalm 16:11).Your joy and pleasure is the measure of your treasure.
But bear in mind that wherever you are and wherever God may be taking you, there will always be someone who will come against you, mock you, falsely accuse you, persecute you or despitefully use you. Take heart, put your heart in the right place and trust Him — He knows everything you are going through and will be going through. He is your Vindicator, Defender and Deliverer. Trust Him in a painful process — remember that He is your Restorer and Exceedingly Great Rewarder.
Trust Him in a painful process; He knows everything you need and will give you the best, way better than you know. Get your heart ready, delight in Him, diligently and earnestly seek Him — He will SURPRISE you — waterfall shall keep pouring in, and all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake YOU!!!
